Research
My research interests focus on transformational changes that shape people’s livelihood decisions and sustainable development. Grant funded projects include: Latino newcomers in the Midwest, their livelihoods, entrepreneurship and integration; how Andean societies adapt to globalization and climate change shaping their rural landscapes; and innovations pathways for smallholder farming in Africa.
