DASS Faculty Recognized at American Association for Agricultural Education Conference

Multiple Division of Applied Social Sciences (DASS) faculty were recognized with awards at the 2023 American Association for Agricultural Education conference held in Raleigh, N.C., in May. Projects receiving awards include:

  • What is the Meaning of Youth Livestock Production?: A Hermeneutic Phenomenological Study. Rebecca Mott, Jon Simonsen, John Tummons, Roxanne Vandermause, Anna Ball, Adam Cletzer, and Jaelyn Peckman. Named as the second runner-up for Most Outstanding Article in the Journal of Agricultural Education for 2022 (Volume 63 with 4 Issues).
  • A Call for Better Qual: A Philosophical and Methodological Examination to Advance Phenomenological Research. Rebecca Mott and Becky Haddad (University of Nebraska – Lincoln). Named as the Outstanding Presentation for the conference out of the top five presented at a special session.
